So. . . It's been awhile. I've now graduated from college, worked at a wonderful summer camp and met new people, started a new job and FINALLY finished with the GRE subject test. I'm glad to be moving on.
So, the car (not my car, I don't have a car, and you'll notice why in the next few sentences) broke for the third time in three weeks this weekend. This time it was the power steering pump. I drove all the way from Tucson with now power steering. By the time I got it to the shop, it was making HORRIBLE screeching noises, too. And just last week the transmission was repaired. And it cost a lot of money. My new bike (yeah, I bought a new bike and it is GORGEOUS) cost less than any one of the car repairs. Jesus. And I can count on my bike and fix my bike. Can't trust the car obviously.
And I'm DONE DONE DONE with my test. Man, what a load off. I'm looking forward to applying at grad schools over the next three weeks. Y'all should know where I'm applying. I'll be asking for help with my personal statement shortly.
And, you know, when someone does something wrong at work, for god's sake let them know. How am I supposed to correct anything if I don't know that I prepped the entirely wrong freakin' lab last Tuesday. What the frick?? And I almost prepared the wrong lab again this week, I just got off the schedule. But, dude, tell me.
Um. I can't think of any more crazy rants for today, but I'm sure I'll have one later. Just akd me about the autoclave or biology lab. Ick.
